A “KEY” to good Customer Service

Adi Mallikarjuna Vanteddu

This is a picture of Adi Mallikarjuna and myself at his Yahoo work parking lot. My favorite memory of working with Adi Mallikarjuna was sitting in his brand new CR-V just as he was about to pull out, and he told me how much he appreciated my help. I love that! He was so sincere and so loving his new car. This was funny timing because I had just told him that I couldn’t find his extra key so I was sending him home with just one. He just smiled and assured me that it would show up and it would be all good. I felt the same (it was, after all, Labor Day weekend, towards the end of a CRAZY 4 days of cars sales). Long story short… after the Labor day madness ended, BOOM! there was the key and I drove to Sunnyvale, CA Yahoo’s campus and delivered the extra keys to a very happy Adi Mallikarjuna. Woohoo!

Tapas Panda and Dyno Blue

Tapas and his wife came in to our dealership WAYYY back on April 2nd to purchase our 2014 Honda Civic EX-L Navi in Dyno Blue Metallic color.

This specific car sold late the previous night. Boo! They were so attached to the specific color that they put down a deposit and ordered the exact same car knowing they may have to wait 3+ months. Exactly 4.5 months later the car arrived and Tapas came in and bought the car. Worth the wait, as Tapas drove the car home to a very happy wife!

It’s Paintball Time!

I have been friends with Husband and Wife Scott Dickie and Kathryn Grifo since they bought a used Prius from me almost a year ago. Since then we have hiked, swam in little streams, ate yummy burgers, pontificated life’s meanings, and the highlight… Paintball!

We all came together that do to battle it out. Before this event, I knew only Scott and Kat. Now I know them everyone in that group, including the ref in the Yellow stripes. Great peeps!

Kumar Family & their Odyssey story

One of the great privileges with working at Anderson Honda is that I am able to help families who are starting a new life. This is the Kumar family, I had been working with the Father Sanjeev over the phone and by emails to get his family a new car once they moved to The United States. The family was still in India and Sanjeev was preparing them for their new beginnings and I couldn’t be more proud to help this man provide for his Wife Poonam and their 2 teenage boys.

They showed up, very much still jet lagged, the day after they arrived in the States. I had their 2014 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite van fueled, detailed, and equipped with newly installed roof rack, moon roof visor, and edge guards. I was so excited to finally meet the family after our long correspondence over the phone, and hand over the keys to their new Odyssey! It was a great feeling being able to help out this family and give them a comfortable, reliable, spacious, beautiful, new vehicle that will help them make a great new start here in California!

Me, Myself and My Caricature

superman by jon casey 2

I want to tell you a little bit about myself and why I decided to create this logo. I have traveled the world and I’ve had many interesting one of a kind jobs like logging in Montana, fishing in Alaska along the Aleutian Chain, and then most recently being a Power Plant operator in Antarctica. The way I see it is selling Honda cars the in the Bay Area to great and amazing people is just the next great adventure, and a truly fun job. This picture perfectly represents the fun I am having every day, and maybe I am not saving the world like Superman but I feel so super and fantastic after I meet a great person, couple, or whole extended family that come to me with a need in their lives and I can help them. It’s a wonderful feeling making people happy and giving them something that will continually make them happy for years to come, and I look forward to the day when some of those people come back for an update or change and I can help them again, and again. I know I am making a difference one car sale at a time!

Anna’s adventures for her Father

Anna is a post doc researcher from Japan, she is now living here in the Bay Area while most of her family is in Japan, so it was really exciting news for Anna that her Father would be coming to visit her. I met Anna while she was looking for a car that her Father could use because Father requested to borrow her car so he could do some sightseeing in and maybe some camping out of, Anna’s current car just wouldn’t do the job.

anna 2Anna picked out the car she thought would be perfect for her Father here on the Anderson Honda lot, but it would take her 3 weeks before she could take it home. At first her Father wired her money all the way from Japan for the car, but it never came through so they had to try again this time straight into Anna’s account. Then when the money did come through Anna withdrew all of it, this made her incredibly nervous to have such a large amount of money on her so I drove over to the bank and I picked her up and we drove directly to Anderson Honda.

Anna 1Now she has a great used car that her dad will borrow when he visits from Japan shortly to take rock climbing. He loves that he will be able to fold the back seats down and sleep inside and Anna loves that her father will be able to do the things he loves independently while he stays with her.
